Dear Ward 5 Resident,
We are days away from the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 11. Our team is getting pumped up and you should too! Our office has participated in the Pride Parade for several years and it always proves to be a fun event. We would love to have you walk with Councilmember Kenyan R. McDuffie in the parade this year to show your Ward 5 Pride. There will be plenty of beads to toss, music, and a good time to be had by all. Although the parade starts at 4:30 pm – if you are interested in walking with our team, please arrive to the staging area by 2:00 pm located at 23rd and N Street NW.
The Capital Pride Parade attracts over 150,000 spectators from across the country annually and features exciting performances from amazing artists that bring so much energy to the stage. From the colorful beads which are a fan favorite, to the amazing acts – this is certainly an event that you do not want to miss!
Please contact our office at (202) 724-8028 to sign up or you may register here.
We look forward to having you join us.
